In Home Dog Training
Our certified trainers offer in-home day training programs, ideal for those of you who are busy, time-strapped and/or working professionals. Training can seem overwhelming and confusing which is why we've made it our commitment to make it easy for you and your pet to learn.
HOME DOG TRAINING STEP PLAN:
Phase 1: Initial consultation & evaluation
Phase 2: Action Plan
Phase 3: Transfer Training
Phase 1. Initial Consultation & Evaluation: during the intial consult we go through a series of questions and spend time evaulating your pet and interactions. This observation time is neccessary and incorporated into a customized solution. We work with you to map out a training plan that meets your and your dogs needs. Each step is reviewed so that we may manage your expectations. Owner and dog will learn fundamentals of positive reinforcement and clicker training in the home and learn how use cues into everyday real life situations. We provide a follow up step by step plan with leave behind homework. Since you are essentially your dogs trainer for life, the information and knowledge is taught to you by our professionals. Our trainers are available to answer questions and assist you throughout our engagement with you. Follow up information is always updated on our website and blog as well.
Phase 2. Action Plan: Our goal is to help make life easy for you. As your K9Concierge, our trainers come to your home and train your dog for you. Three (3) 1 hour sessions are conducted each week and 1 field trip per week is often neccessary to achieve desired and lasting results. Testing to ensure your pet understands the training is exercised.
Phase 3. Transfer Training: Our home sessions are designed to free up your time however you are encouraged to observe since, we believe in the end training is a life long commitment on your part. We will teach you and share the training information to you. We schedule a Transfer Session at the end of each Phase 2 training week to teach you how to maintain all the cues they've learned that week. You are responsible and accountable to practce the home work. Only a few skills (2-3) each week are trained each week to ensure your dog and you are not overwhelmed. Transfer sessions are CRITICAL to your dogs training success throughout the program and more importantly long term.
Our goal is to be your short term partner in your dogs success. We will only be successful with participation and commitment.
NOTE: Day Taining Program rates vary depending on your/your dogs needs and subsequent training plan.
